Adverbs

Adverbs are words that describe or qualify the meaning of verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. Some adverbs are also used to describe clauses or sentences. Some adverbs are usually words that answer questions with how. e.g.- He reads carefully. ( carefully modifies the verb reads)

- He is truly dedicated. (truly modifies the adjective dedicated)

- He walks too quickly.(too modifies the adverb quickly)

- Unfortunately, I cannot attend the wedding. (unfortunately modifies the sentence)
