
The "Reinforced Concrete Structures 1" course is designed for students in the 1st year of a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in "Structures". It enables them to acquire knowledge on:
- Calculation of reinforced concrete slabs (One-way slab, two-way slab and flat slab);
- Calculation of reinforced concrete frames under vertical loads "Caquot's method";
- Calculation of reinforced concrete frames under horizontal loads "Muto's method";
- Regulatory provisions relating to columns and beams;
- Calculation of shallow foundations.
Recommended prior knowledge:
